From here to Eternity...: sweetness

So on Sunday I got a text from Kalen around 7:20am asking if David & I were awake yet becasue he was apparently in our driveway. Id like to say it was because he was THAT enthusiastic about going to Church haha. So since I was technically awake, just not up out of bed... I got up and got dressed and retrieved Kalen & Makalah from the cold outside and got David out of bed as well. We all just hung out that morning until it was time for church. Makalah and I play, the boys watched Cars, and I was the only one who ate breakfast because it was fast Sunday and Im exempt cause I am pregnant. haha.
Before leaving church I packed my purse up to entertain Makalah because Megan wasnt with us to reign her in... and it was fast Sunday so it seems to last longer then normal Sundays. I had natural apple licorice and raspberry licorice, pretzel gold fish, a peeled and sliced apple, and a special water bottle just for her in a pink slip. I drink water periodically because I get sick to my stomach if I dont... and if I drank some I knew she would want some so I just made her own and put it in a pink case so I wouldnt have to see the floaties in hers lol.
She was EXTREMELY well behaved and played with me and David the whole time (Kalen was "praying" very intently with his eye closed most of service lol...). We were sitting infront of the Condi's (who have 3 kids) and their youngest (Duke) was standing with a toy while Makalah was looking over the church pew at him. She proceded to rub his head for a while and play with his hair. UH OH!! She is already a little romancer. The funniest part? He let her do it and when she stopped he turned around and took her hand and put it back on his head lol. He liked it!!! His parents & I and the few people who saw all started cracking up. Eventually Duke got distracted and so did Makalah so she ventured on to other things.
Infront of us were the Olsens and they have 2 sons. Well, their youngest, Easton, was laying on the floor playing with his dinosaurs or something and when Makalah found him... it was love under the chruch pew lol!! I couldnt keep her off the floor. Now normally I know Megan wouldnt let her lay on the floor so I was trying to keep Megans rules intact... but it was just so cute how they were acting together that I couldnt help but laugh and take a quick picture. HTis is her with her head under the pew playing with Easton.

Well eventually Easton had enough of Makalah and started to whine when she would play with things. The cutest part of their play session was when the entire chruch was silent and Easton sneezed 2 times in a row and then all of a sudden you hear this little high pitched voice "BLESS YOU! I SAID BLESS YOU! BLESS YOU!" lol. What good Mannors Makalah has. She caught me taking her pictue and so she would be like "Me?" and so I would take a pic, show her, and then she would laugh and then say "now Mommy" lol. I was like... I dont have any pictures of mommy on here. Eventually she got exhasperated with me and went to read her Barney barn yard book we had brought with us.

After church we went and got Megan and treated ourselved to a delish meal full of fattening foods. I just really was craving a burger. I couldnt get it out of my head and so I treated myself to a bacon cheese burger and steak fries. Healthy right? I know. The conversation was great, Makalah made a delightful mess under the table, and Megan got served 1/2 a chicken breast on her chicken sandwich. I complained (well, requested more chicken in a nice way is more like it) and so they brought her out an entire new jerk cooked chicken breast and only charged her for a side of chicken instead of the actual meal. Score!
Afterwards Megan had a sweet tooth which reminded all of us (except Kalen of course) that we also had sweet tooths so we headed over to get some Italian Ice (Joelattis... I have posted about them a lot this pregnancy lol). We all had a fun ol' time trying out random flavors until we found the ones we wanted. I was craving fake cherry flavor... like 7-11 cherrry slurpie flavor lol. So I had Wild Cherrry Joe Lattie. It was good, but the fake cherry flavor was QUITE strong after a while lol. Didnt stop me though. David had watermelon I think (not 100%) and Megan had smurf death or something like that lol. I forget the name. It had something do to with smurfs though.

We decided to have a small photo shoot, and I took some pictures of everyone since Im trying to be more diligent with picture taking and documenting our lives here in this blog.

Here is David and his precious Joelattie. MMM! Here is David and I keeping it simple. I dont have a lot of make up on so Im pretty plain looking here. Thats okay, I got my pregnancy glow to pull it off right? lol. JK!

This is of Makalah as she enjoys her smurf death Joelatti that Megan is feeding her. Her teeth are blue from the italian ice haha. She was being such a ham!!

Then I wanted a group shot... but someone has to take the picture right? So I took it... because I hate being in pictures (truth be told).

But I realized The Clausi's & The Matson's need more pcitures of us all together... so we rigged a stool to take a picture of us all together. Thats why the front of the picture is red vinyl lol. I look funny cause I am not wearing a maternity shirt (just one of my regular pre-pregnancy shirts) so it doesnt come down all the way to cover the entire belly... just midway lol.

After that we called it a night. The Matsons needed to retrieve their tiny turkey and David needed to prep for the "Big Game" lol. He was disappointed because he wanted the Colts to win... but in the end he really didnt care for either team so it wasnt that big of a deal to him. I slept through most of the game lol. Then I woke up to make everyone dinner.
