Its getting a little over the top...

Someone needs to take my wallet away from me and forbid me from online shopping. Its getting a tad out of control haha. Im not buying the "traditional" baby stuff because I know much of that will be given as gifts between now and birth especially with the shower. But I just cant help to find things I love and convince myself that its okay to buy them because ADELLA NEEDS THEM! lol.
A boy would have been so much cheaper...lol!! Let met take you through a little walk on my newest purchases lol. I dont regret any of them and actually am really enjoying seeing stuff as the packages arrive in the mail. Adella will LOVE all this stuff. Well, Im sure she wont really care... But Mommy will sure love seeing Adella in everything! lol.

Headband Bows:

I just love seeing little girls in bows and head bands and flowers in their hair and stuff. Its just so cute and helps curve the whole "is it a she or a he?" issue that so many strangers seem to face. If you ask me if my daughter is a girl while she has a giant pink bow on her head... well then you probably are not someone I want to be chatting up with anyways lol. I got these 11 bows for $12 (whcih included shipping). HOW COULD I NOT BUY THAT! lol. What a great deal!! Plus I have outfits for almost all of these colors to match haha. Oh yes... its that bad.

Nylon Head Bands:
I also bought these little beauties. I didnt buy the cream or light yellow one. But the other lot of 10 I got. I got them for $6.99 (which included shipping as well). They are simple, soft, and in my opinion really "make" an outfit ya know?

Watch... I invested all this "money" into hair accessories and she is going to come out bald and with a weird shapped head that makes the bands slip off. lol.

Trumpette shoe Socks:

I am obsessed with these mini socks. I love baby shoes because they are so tiny and cute but I have been reading that baby shoes arent very good for babies ebcause they can bend their feet and restrict growth and cause over all discomfort. So when i found these socks I thought to myself... PERFECT! Socks are a must with cold little feet and these look like the cute shoes I love so much. haha. So I bought these. I spent a little more on these (under $30 with shipping) but in my opinion they are worth it. I mean... LOOK HOW CUTE THEY ARE!

Adiri Natural Nurser Bottles:
Well since I am going back to work (officially...) I have been researching bottles for breast fed babies to help continue the natural feeling/flow so that we can continue nursing before I leave for work, after work, at night, and on weekends. Ya know? Like daycare will be the only time she uses these. They have GREAT reviews and are compatable with the drop ins from the pump so its all one little unit. These are $8 a bottle but I figure I will buy one to start with and see if she even likes them. I have heard stories where mothers spend a fortune on special bottles and find their baby will only take the cheapo ones haha. So these are the ones we will try first.

Burts Bee's "Baby Bee" Care Line:
I am OBSESSED with burts bee's care for myself. I use their chapstick and hand creme religeously. So when I stumbled across their baby bee line I knew it was love at first site. This stuff smells AWESOME and white it is a little more pricey... its really not that huge of a difference from the aveno/johnson brands. Plus this stuff is all natural with no fragrences added and stuff (yet it still smells so good!?) which will be a smart move for us since David has sensitive skin. I dont want to risk Adella having sensitive skin to and me not finding out until I deck her out in hives because I washed her with something that had chemicals in it she was allergic too. Id feel horrible. My favorite it the buttermilk bath soak... I put some in the sink and washed/soaked my hands in it... WOW! "Smooth as a babies bottom" hahahahha.

Oilily Diaper Bag:
So I am not one to go all "gaga" over designer clothes/purses. I mean... if its a good deal sure but I dont SEEK OUT stuff like that. If I can buy it at Target, why pay 100x the price at Nordstroms lol. So when I came across this Oilily diaper bad I thought for sure it was out of my price range... but turns out it was only $29.77 with shipping. I LOVE the bag. I can use it as a purse and its feminine but cute at the same time. Of course Kaiser provides you with a nice diaper bag (black with lime green pipping) that we will use for rough play and when Daddy has to take the bag (can you imagine David with this bag lol...). But I really love this diaper bag. It was a great find in my opinion.

Pink Swaddle Blanket:
So I babysat my friends 3 week old and discovered I suck at swaddling lol. I didnt think it would be that hard but my folds kept sagging and coming undone. So after making fun of people who bought the pre-made swaddle blankets I went ahead and bit my pride and bought one. I figured that Id rather spend money on a velcrow-able blanket and know Adella is secured then try to swaddle her, her escape, and then smother herself in the blanket. Morbid... I know. But a realistic thought. The Matsons daughters didnt like to be swaddled so I only bought one and registered for like 1 more so that if Adella hates it... its not like I cant just return it or sell it or save it or regift it or whatever lol.

Infant hand plaster molds:
I know someone who made one of these of their daughters hands when she was in the NICU at 33 weeks weighing only 2lbs. They are SOOOO tiny. When i found the kit to do it too I was stoked. I like the ones where you push the handprint into the plaster, they are cute... and I even got one from someone already as a gift. But these are just so much more awesome lol. You get an exact (almost) copy of their hands to remember how small they were. I am excited to do this when she gets home from the hospital haha.

Alright... thats enough. I need to get out of here. Work is done and now you all know about my serious shopping habits lol.
