melting pot of updates.

Monday was a holiday.
So this work week starts on Tuesday. I hate Tuesday this week, its getting my Monday blues. But, if Tuesday was always Monday then I would indefinitely hate Tuesday since it means the start of my dreaded work week. Haha. Actually, work isn’t that bad at all. I really enjoy the people most of the time and its not that hard. Some days are stressful but I think over all I keep a happy medium.
It just doesn’t make me feel productive. At the end of the day… I'm tired, and not because I worked TO hard. Lol. I think it’s more of a laziness thing.

Well, 1 week down. 7 days behind me. 7 days in front of me. We are at the half way mark. Oh the anticipation ;)

We had family visiting from out of town this weekend. My Great Uncle Junior (grandpa’s brother) and his son Paul (grandpa’s nephew). They are really nice people and I could tell it really made my grandpa happy to have someone come out to visit him. Gramps is always exerting the effort to maintain relationships with everyone ‘back home’ and I feel bad that its not always reciprocated. That doesn’t phase grandpa though… his method of thinking is that whatever it takes you do, regardless. I could tell it made him feel good to be thought of though.
Uncle Junior and Grandpa are the same little mini old Mexican men, but basically polar opposites when it comes to everything else. Let me just tell you, you don’t argue politics with a Sanchez man haha. Holy cow!! If I have to hear one more thing about illegal immigrants, or Obama’s “terrorist” reign haha I'm gonna shoot my foot off!! But it keeps them entertained. They argue, but in the end still laugh it over. Each of them secretly thinks they won haha.

Got to spend some time with my mother. Not much, since she was getting some alone time with Cal. That’s cool though, I know how important it is to get some quality time with your spouse. I can only imagine how much more precious theirs is when they get it since they are escaping from 3 dogs, a cat, 2 teenage girls and a tweenage boy haha.

We got a new receptionist at work. His name is “Leo”. I snicker because that’s what we call our dog Leonidas. I didn’t tell the new guy that though because, I'm sure that wouldn’t make a good impression. “Hello, I'm cassandra” “Hi I'm Leo” “hahaha we have a dog named leo” “uhh… cool?” hahahah. Not the most comfortable conversation.

Jamie and I will be meeting up for dinner with Stephanie on Friday. I can tell Jamie doesn’t really want to, but she is only doing it because she also doesn’t want to be mean… which is why Jamie MADE SURE I would be there first before agreeing haha. Its cool though. Ill get to see Jay regardless and that’s all I care about.

David and I will be going to visit Jamie + Daniel the first weekend of March. We already got the time off. We will be driving up VERY early on Friday morning, and driving home VERY early on Monday morning. It will be a great time. We are going to Alcatraz!! Plus shopping in the city. I'm sure Daniel will give us a mini tour of Berkeley and we will go out and just have some cool fun. David and I will bring some of our new board games with us so we can stay in too and enjoy one another’s company. Like boggle and mad gab haha!!

That’s all I got for now, but I'm sure more will come to me right after I hit submit. Haha.
