Are you still with him? Yes, we are happily (and eternally) married.
Were you trying to get pregnant? Yes, we were trying but had given up hope that it was going to happen naturally and had begun pursing adoption. But we never "stopped trying".

When you found out

When did you find out? I was only 3wks and 3 days pregnant. It was August 22nd 2009!

Were did you find out? In my bathroom. Took a test on a whim because a girlfriend was pregnant lol. SUPRISE SUPRISE!
How far along were you? Barely pregnant at all. Only 3wks 3 days (10 days past ov).What was your reaction? Shocked. We had not been able to "try" that month due to a bunch of different circumstances so it threw me off that the one month it SHOULDNT have happened, it did.
Who was the first person you told? My OB haha.
How did you tell the father? Once the doctor confirmed everything I just told him by showing him a test (which was still very faint) and he didnt believe me so I got a digital that said "pregnant" and then he believed me lol.
What was his reaction? He was excited, but cautious. He didnt want to get his own hopes up or me to excited because of our past history with miscarriage and stuff.

All about your pregnancy

When is your due date? First U/S said 5/8/10 and then second U/S said 5/2/10 so you take your pick. We mostly go off 5/2 but the doctor seems to go back and forth between both.

Did you have any morning sickness? Yes, I had morning, noon, and night sickness. It was horrible and didnt let up until about 18 weeks. Then I got incredible hip pain to replace it. Now in my third trimester I have the barfs again AND the hip pain. Double the trouble.

What are your fears? Just getting this baby here alive and safe and healthy. We have had many miscarriages and failed infertility treatment so each day that we make it through is a triumph.

What are you most happy about? That it is finally our turn to bring a beautiful little soul into this world to raise and love and be parents to.

Did you want a boy or girl? Truth be told I think we had our hearts set on a little boy... but I always knew in the back of my head it was a girl. Then when we officially found out it was a girl, we wouldnt have it any other way. She is our little angel :)

What did the father want boy or girl? He definately wanted a little boy. I think every man wants a son ya know? But he is already in love with his baby girl. He tells her every night how much he loves her haha.

Do you know what your haveing? A girl. No denying her girly parts in all the ultrasounds haha.

Do you have a name picked out? Her name will be Adella Juliet after our mothers (Adele & Julie).

How much weight have you gained? Technically none haha. I lost 21 pounds the first trimester, gained 7 back by 33 weeks, lost 2 while I was sick and am at a total of -16lbs since I got pregnant and I am gonna be 37 weeks on Saturday.

Have you felt the baby move? Oh do I ever feel her move haha. She moves like CRAZY all the time. She is an active little one with mighty strength haha.

When you have the baby

Are you keeping the baby? Yes, she is very much wanted and will be joining our family with open arms to embrace her.

Do you plan on a natural or medicated birth? I dont plan on anything. If I can go unmedicated, cool... if I need meds, thats fine, if I need an epidurla, well shoot me up. haha.

Are you scared about labor? I dont know. My mind hasnt fully grasped the concept of labor I dont think haha. I might be a little scared of the unknown.

What do you think will be the worst part of labor? The pain I am assuming haha. Or if it takes a long time then the anxiety of waiting to meet my daughter.

Have you taken any classes? Yes a few.

Who will be in the delivery room? Myself and my husband for DELIVERY. During labor my mom and sister in law will be there. Im sure a few others will pop in lol.

Are you having the birth videotaped? No thanks. Take some over the shoulder pictures for memories but the rest of it I will keep in my brain... no hard evidence needed lol.

Do you think you will cry when you see the baby for the first time? Uh ya! I cry just thinking about seeing her for the first time haha.

What do you think the fathers reaction to the baby will be? I think he will cry as hard if not harder them me haha. He is a bit emotional at times. He is super attached to Adella as well so Im sure he will be just overflowing with emotion.

How do you think family and friends will feel? Im sure they will be overflowing with joy and pride. Excited for their turn to see/hold her and everything.
