This is this weeks menu:
So I dont need to buy oatmeal, raisins or bananas, or basically any fruit. I have milk and bread and the buns for our hamburgers. I have a bag of meatballs and I have lots of pasta. I have the french fries, and I have the mashed potatoes. I have all the steamed veggies. So basically my grocery list is as follows:
Grocery List:
Meats
Meats
Breakfast Sausage (1 package)
Turkey Lunch Meat (1 package)
3lbs ground beef (1lb Hamburger help, 1lb burgers, 1lb t.t. casserole)
1 container boneless skinless chicken (fresh or frozen depending on price)
1 package Italian sausages
Dairy (& Eggs)
2 packages grated cheddar cheese
1 package slices provolone
Dozen eggs
Breads
1 package bakery Croissants
2 loafs garlic bread
1 container flakey biscuits (for quiche bottoms)
Produce
3 bags of lettuce (romaine mix)
4 medium tomatoes
1 large cucumber
3 green bell peppers
2 red bell peppers
2 large brown onion
Randoms
1 bag chips
1 package hamburger helper
1 package white rice
1 box of whatever cereal David wants
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 package instant onion soup
Everything else I have so that will round it out. I estimate based on the sale prices and everything that I wont go over $60 which is good because my weekly budget is $80... so that means $20 extra into savings. Most of the money will be spent on the produce because that seems to always be more expensive.

ReplyDeleteCONGRATULATIONS on your pregnancy! Only 14 weeks and a few days until your due date! Being pregnant is so amazing, isn't it?
Anyways, I love making a meal plan, but I hardly ever stick to it. Is it easy for you to actully make what you put on your meal plan?
