Its Friday finally. Actually this week went by suprisingly fast because for whatever reason Monday and Tuesday felt like Monday and Monday so I lost a day in there and then found out by Wednesday that it was indeed Wednesday and I have been in a pretty good mood since then. I mean... I totally lost track of an entire day lol!!
Me, Megan & Kisha went out on Wednesday. I picked Kisha up from her house around 6:45 and we went over to "Joe's Petrucci Ice" stand which is a little eat coast place out here. Both Kisha and I ordered the "Joeslatti" with Red Raspberry "water ice" and vanilla custard.
HOLY MOLY! lol. Its always as good as I remember. I never leave and go "Wow, its gone down hill" or "its usually better" lol. Its always JUST as good if not better every time I partake. So we sat in the car and ate our delish desserts (dessert before dinner... we are so pregnant lol). When it got to about 7:45we headed over to the 15minute parking lot outside of disney and waited for Megan.
Megan was pleasantly suprised to find me with Kish lol. I didnt get a chance to talk to her before hand about going on a dinner date because she was working. Luckily she was a good sport about it. We were in the mood for some mexican food so we headed back down to HB and ate at Don Jose. I ate a carnitas tostada... well, almost 1/2 of it lol. Kisha ate a cheese enchilada (I think) with beans and Megan ate half of her 1/2 order of arroz con pollo lol. We got to the restaurant at 8pm and didnt leave until about 10:15pm. We talked a lot.
Kisha and I are going to be delivering through Kaiser which is where Megan had both of her last children at. Plus... we are all close enough that we could ask Megan the gruesome questions and not worry about getting slapped. I think it actually was really awesome of a convo... might have been awkward for Megan lol but I know Kisha and I learned a lot. Like pooping on the delivery table lol. (Kisha... you need to go read belly laughs by Jenny McCarthy!!) I am excited for delivery for the sole purpose of it meaning I get my baby. The whole "labor" thing... I am blocking it out mentally for the time being lol. I cant handle thinking about it. AHH!
We also talked about more personal stuff. Marriage, future, husbands, emotions... its was nice. Its really not that often that we all get together without the husbands there. So it was nice. We got to talk about them and vent about life and everything without our husbands over riding us and telling us no or we are wrong or getting mad at us lol. I learned a lot about the girls too. Things that you cant learn unless someone opens up about them, and I am touched that we were all able to open up about stuff thats private and hard to talk about sometimes.
Then we realized the restaurant was closed so we packed up and headed out. We dropped Kisha off at home and then Megan and I returned to my house. I was tired so I sort of left her at the stairs lol. I went straight to bed... Im assuming she talked to Kalen and then went to bed too. She is scared of my house (we have ghosts. lol. Think Im kidding?) so Im sure she wanted to fall right asleep to keep her mind from scaring her or tricking her.
I worked the late shift yesterday at work (10am-6:30pm) which was AS BAD as I thought it would be. I still hate it though. Starting Monday that will be my actual schedule for February and March. If I am still working in April then I will go back to my 7am-3:30am shift untill its time to have this baby!!
This brings me to today again. Friday. WOO HOO!
David leaves today to go camping with the scouts so he will be gone tonight and back later tomorrow. So if anyone wants to hang out tonight/tomorrow... Ill be here.
Okay. Enough on this blog. Im going to post one all about baby clothes next lol.
