(If your having a hard time reading the chart, click on it. It will make it normal sized)
The mid cycle estradiol is the Estrogen level after a few days of medicines. We want this number to ideally be above 100 but not to high because its still to early in the cycle for that.
The pre-trigger progesterone is what tells us if we have ovulated or not. We want this number to be under 2 because that means the eggs haven’t released yet. Then I take a “trigger shot” that forces these eggs to release when we are ready to do the insemination.
The pre-trigger estradiol level shows us if the eggs are mature yet. We want 150 to 200 per each mature egg. So the first cycle I had one crappy egg. The second cycle I had one egg, mayyyybe 2 eggs. The third cycle I had 2 eggs. Now, here we are on the fourth cycle and I have about 5 or 6 completely mature eggs ready to go.
The 6-day post IUI progesterone measures how well you ovulated. In an un-medicated cycle they want to see above 10 for ovulation, and above 20 for a viable pregnancy. In a medicated cycle they want to see about 15 for ovulation and above 20 for a viable pregnancy. The more eggs you have, the stronger your progesterone numbers will be.
So everything seems to be doing well. It seems that I have responded better and better to each cycle. This cycle will MOST LIKELY be our last cycle since our dual insurance runs up on March 28th. The doctor said that if I don’t get pregnant this cycle I can do one last cycle with her and we will probably have time to finish it out before the insurance runs out. I say lets just hope this cycle works haha.
Tomorrows the big day. The eggs will be on the loose and hopefully the “swimmers” will catch them and make babies out of them. Haha. Its kind of cool that I get to see the eggs and stuff on the ultrasound. I could have potentially seen one of our future children haha. I will be taking the day off of work to lay down and relax. Tie my feet up to the ceiling (just kidding!). Say a prayer for us!

sorry, I got eggs on the mind
I did another chart to give you and overview of where we are at right now. Its hard not to analyze everything. However, despite what some may think... Im actually very calm about this cycle. Im anxious with anticipation, but Im already used to the let down so it is what it is no matter what.
