grow little eggies grow!!

I had my first “mid cycle” appointment this morning for our 4th (and last) cycle of infertility treatment.

I have 3 eggs that are over 12mm right now (18-22 is mature) and I am only on day 4 of my Repronex injections… so that’s good. I have 4 more eggs on the other side that are about 10 so they MIGHT make it to maturity. It could go either way with those 4. I am thinking my 3 eggs will make it and that will make for a great cycle. The most eggs I ever produced was 5 but only 1 was fully mature and 1 was ALMOST mature so it could or couldn’t have released. So this is good, really good. Hopefully they continue to grow and are nice fat healthy follicles on the day of the insemination.

I got my blood work back from this morning and my Estradiol numbers are looking really good this cycle too. (Estradiol is actually a type of estrogen, which is the major female reproductive hormone. Estradiol is the primary type of estrogen, and it is produced in your ovaries. As they grow and develop, your egg follicles secrete estradiol, helping to trigger the rest of the reproductive cycle) I put down a comparison chart below from all 4 cycles so you could see how with each cycle I have responded better and better.

I would also like to point out that most of those “before trigger” numbers were taken on cycle day 12 and the one I got today (4th cycle) was take on cycle day 7. That means that in a little over ½ the time my numbers are already double what they have ever been before. Whoo hoo!

Idealistically you want to have AT LEAST 200 per each mature follicle, so when I trigger hopefully my estradiol number will be at LEAST 600… if not greater. That’s assuming that the three, or only the 3 make it to maturation.

This chart shows what cycle it was, what my Estradiol level was before I took the injection to make the eggs release, and what the estradiol level was after I took the injection to make the eggs release. (If your having a hard time reading the chart, click on it. It will make it normal sized)
So keep our little eggies in your prayers. God is giving us the best cycle yet so lets hope we go out with a bang this time!
